![]() Ok, I love the fundamentals of this magazine, but Ruger really dropped the ball on two simple details.ġ. Haven't fired the Max yet but so far I love what I see and feel in my hand. The Max is what the LC should have been in the first place. Love the improvements on the Max-9 except for the mags. Ok, I have owned an LC9 for years, 7 round mag. ![]() One of the selling points I considered for lightweight carry was the magazine capacity.guess I should have just bought two 10 round magsġ1 rounds can be stuffed into the "12" round mag but I just put 10 into both 10 & 12(11) round mags in my new Max-9. I have 2 of these and I can barely get 11 in one(with a lot of pressure) and the other one only 10. I have several Ruger rifles and handguns and I have to say this is the first time I have been really disappointed. After I removed the spring-seat and re-seated it, I was able to load all 12 rounds. When I first bought these, 10 rounds was the maximum that could be loaded.
